Meet the Family Behind Armor Woodworks
A story of faith, family, and craftsmanship
Our Story
We are Mike and Tracey Sellers, the proud owners of Armor Woodworks by Mike. Since 1992, we've been happily married and have a fantastic son named Ty, along with two beloved dogs, Rylie and Enzo, who are truly part of our family.
At Armor Woodworks, we make and sell a variety of wooden products and laser-engraved items, from small holiday decorations to personalized wine glasses, custom signs, cutting boards, outdoor furniture, and so much more.
How We Got Started
I have experience in both residential and commercial construction as a licensed general contractor. I love creating and building things by hand. Woodworking brings me enjoyment, relaxation, and a sense of achievement.
When we added CO2 and fiber laser engraving capabilities to our business, Tracey and Ty started to play a bigger role by adding unique touches to our products through laser engraving. We take pride in making our customers happy with what we produce.
The Meaning Behind Our Name
Armor Woodworks by Mike reflects our desire to give thanks to God for His love that helped me through a tough time of depression and anxiety. Without His support, I wouldn't have overcome those struggles.
We chose the word "Armor" to honor God, as His Armor (Ephesians 6) provided me with the strength and tools to conquer those challenges. That's the story behind Armor Woodworks by Mike.
